The founder of the Marquette University Center for Peacemaking will lead a presentation on the Gospel witness to Jesus’ nonviolence from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Holy Family Parish, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave., Whitefish Bay.
Following his presentation, Dr. Terry Rynne, founder of the center and author of Jesus Christ, Peacemaker: A New Theology of Peace and Gandhi and Jesus: The Saving Power of Nonviolence, also will participate in a discussion on how Gospel teachings can and are being enacted in our city, diocese and churches.
Copies of Rynne’s books will be available for purchase at the event.
