On Tuesday, July 31, at 8 a.m. IT Services will make the new Marquette Wi-Fi networks available. The old wireless networks will be decommissioned Wednesday morning. It is important to reconnect mobile devices (laptops, cellphones, and tablets) to “MU Secure” before the old wireless networks are decommissioned to prevent wireless service interruption.
Actions to take:
1. Review the information and instructions on mu.edu/wifi
2. University issued Windows computers should connect automatically to MU Secure, if powered on and connected to the campus network. If not, follow the Windows instructions.
3. All Mac computers, Android and iOS devices and personally owned Windows computers should follow the instructions on mu.edu/wifi to connect to MU Secure.
Note: It is important to re-connect personal and university owned mobile devices to the new MU Secure Wi-Fi network while on campus to reduce potential cellular data plan overages or charges.
