On Tuesday, July 31, IT Services will make the new Marquette Wi-Fi networks available.
Detailed connection instructions will be provided on Monday, July 30.
Marquette Wi-Fi networks and intended uses are as follows:
MU Secure
Single secure wireless network for all faculty, staff, and students to use. Connect personally and university owned computers, phones, and tablets to this network for internet and campus electronic resources.
MU Guest
Guests (visitors, alumni, vendors, etc.) will be able to self-register and access the internet.
MU Open
An additional network that will allow students to connect gaming systems, smart TVs and other such devices that require wireless connectivity to the internet.
eduroam
Visitors from participating eduroam institutions can connect to the internet — without the need for guest credentials.
This change will make it easier to connect to Marquette’s secure wireless network while providing self-service guest registration.
