All faculty and staff are invited to campus listening sessions for the search for the next chief of the Marquette police department on Thursday, June 21, at 1:30 p.m. in AMU 227, and Wednesday, July 11 at 9:30 a.m. in AMU 227.
The goal of the listening sessions is to help the search committee identify the opportunities and challenges that will face the chief of police. Based on these sessions, the committee will draft an Opportunity and Challenge Profile, which will provide the basis for the position description.
Members of the Marquette community also have the opportunity to pose questions, suggestions and advice on the search committee website or by emailing search committee co-chairs Rana Altenburg, vice president of public affairs, and Mike Broeker, deputy athletics director.
Interested attendees do not need to register or RSVP for the listening session.
