Students in English 4210: Writing for Social Justice, will present a community event, “Resources for Raising Race Consciousness in Children and Youth,” today, Monday, April 30, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Whitefish Bay Library.
The event is hosted by five co-sponsoring community organizations including One Circle Forward, Plymouth Church, Rid Racism Milwaukee, SURJ MKE, and YWCA Southeast Wisconsin’s Racial Justice Program.
Students will give brief book talks and be ready to discuss a range of recent publications. The event is open to the public. Contact Dr. Beth Godbee, assistant professor of English, with any questions.
