Register for upcoming Faber Center events

April 13, 2018

Registration is now open for the following Faber Center Events:

  • Reflection and Lunch for People of Color will take place Wednesday, April 25, from noon to 1 p.m. in Schroeder Complex 112. This lunch-hour reflection is for staff and faculty members from minority groups across campus and is an opportunity to experience belonging and hospitality in diversity. Come spend the hour in relaxation and connection with other people of color on campus. The event will be facilitated by Sr. Anne Arabome, SSS, associate director of the Faber Center. Registration must be completed by Monday, April 23, by contacting Julie Bach, administrative assistant, at (414) 288-4545.
  • “Living in Hope” Spring Retreat will take place Friday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Clare Hall (located about 20 minutes from campus). Ignatius offers us sage advice when he suggests we take some time to reflect on our lived experiences. We invite you to join us for this day of reflection to gain a greater appreciation of an Ignatian retreat and to recollect all that has happened this past academic year. The event will be facilitated by the Faber Center staff.  Registration must be completed by Tuesday, April 24, by contacting Julie Bach, administrative assistant, at (414) 288-4545.

More information on events can be found online.

A letter from James Foley to Marquette

A letter from James Foley to Marquette

Marquette University has always been a friend to me. The kind who challenges you to do more and be better and ultimately shapes who you become. With Marquette, I went on some volunteer trips to South Dakota and Mississippi and learned I was a sheltered kid and the world had real problems. I came to […]
