Four Marquette faculty members will be recognized at the Père Marquette Dinner, Thursday, May 3, with the university’s highest teaching honor. The 2018 Teaching Excellence Award winners are Dr. SuJean Choi, professor of biomedical sciences; Dr. Jill Guttormson, assistant professor of nursing; Dr. David Krause, assistant professor of practice of finance; and Dr. Andrew Kunz, associate professor of physics.
Marquette’s Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award was established to recognize one faculty member and one staff member who demonstrate exemplary leadership and has shown an ability to put the ideals of diversity, equity and inclusion into practical action. The Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award winners are Dr. Lisa Edwards, professor of counselor education and counseling psychology (faculty), and Jacqueline Schram, director of public affairs and special assistant for native American affairs (staff).
