The Ethics of Big Data Symposium will take place on Friday, April 27, at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northwestern Mutual. Industry experts will discuss legal privacy, contrasting government concerns on privacy and the code of ethics for Data Science.
Jody Westby will present the keynote presentation, “Awakening to the Privacy Risks Associated with Big Data.” Westby is an accomplished expert on legal privacy, cybercrime, security, e-discovery and outsourcing risks. She has an interdisciplinary background in being highly recognized lawyer who has published books in areas of expertise for the ABA. She is also an adjunct professor in the School of Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
