The first annual BioDiscovery Undergraduate Research Symposium will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 23, in the Alumni Memorial Union, AMU 227. More than 40 students from the Departments of Biological and Biomedical Sciences will be presenting their research projects addressing some of society’s most pressing issues. In addition to student poster presentations, Provost Dan Myers and the departmental leadership will speak about the rapid growth of BioDiscovery-related initiatives at Marquette and the opportunities that they provide to the university, as well as to its undergraduate students (3:15-3:45). No RSVP is required and refreshments will be provided.
