The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District through the Marquette University Water Quality Center is requesting proposals for the 2018 Water Coordinated Activities on Research for the Environment (WaterCARE) project.
The WaterCARE project coordinates Marquette University researcher activities that help improve water resource reclamation and protect the environment. In this collaboration, Marquette works with MMSD to achieve the vision of a healthier Milwaukee region and a cleaner Lake Michigan. Requested research areas include policy, communication, and science/technology topics that are listed online.
Project duration should be one year and total budget should be between $10,000 and $100,000. Other amounts will be considered under special circumstances depending on the work proposed. Multiple-year project durations are possible for certain projects, but are not guaranteed, and consideration for subsequent renewal will be based on submittal of annual project proposals. The WaterCARE project anticipates issuing annual requests for proposals in the years 2018-2022.
