The Marquette University College of Business Administration has entered into a strategic alliance with the Family Business Legacy Institute, Keyes Dean Brian Till announced. The FBLI is a Milwaukee-based member organization of family-owned businesses that supports these enterprises through networking events, ongoing education and other resources.
Through this alliance, Marquette business professors may lend their expertise to FBLI members through research and speaking engagements, and the college will provide the FBLI with a home base for operations and programming. Marquette business students will also benefit from additional networking and class project possibilities.
“The College of Business Administration is continually seeking opportunities to engage with the Milwaukee-area business community, and this opportunity to work with an organization that serves one of the pillars of our economy — family owned businesses — is an excellent fit,” Till said. “We are looking forward to partnering with FBLI and its member companies.”
