Register for the Faber Center’s upcoming spring offerings

February 12, 2018

The Faber Center has two upcoming events:

Lenten Half-Day Ecumenical Retreat

Water is a key image for the Lenten season and provides the backdrop for the theme of this retreat, “Streams of Living Water,”  that will take place on Friday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Schroeder Complex 112. Michael Dante, director of the Faber Center, will lead the retreat which will start with a morning of prayer and renewal. Participants will also spend some time at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel throughout the day. Continental breakfast and lunch are included. To register, contact Julie Bach, or call (414) 288- 4545 by Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Young Professionals Gathering

The decisions we face and ways in which we decide touch not only our choice of career but all aspects of our lives. Rev. Michael Sparough S.J. is a writer, scholar, and spiritual director. His easy-to-read- and-practice book, “What’s Your Decision” de-mystifies Ignatian discernment for better decision making. A book discussion and reflection on its implications for the Marquette community will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on the following Tuesdays: Feb. 20, March 6 and 20, and April 3 and 17,  in Schroeder Complex 111. The book discussions will be facilitated by Michael Dante, director of the Faber Center. Books and a light lunch will be provided. To register, contact Julie Bach, by Thursday, Feb. 15.
