The Office of International Education will host its 34th annual International Day on Friday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the second floor lobby of the AMU.
International Day celebrates the sights, sounds, and flavors of the many cultures that compose our university community. Students from a number of countries and regions, including Canada, China, Ecuador, Germany, Indonesia, Africa, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom, will host tables to share information about their home countries or where they studied abroad through music, food, and other traditions. Food samples (Chinese dumplings, West African rice, and rice pudding) will be available in the Innovative Kitchen between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Marquette student groups interested in hosting a table can contact Susan Whipple.
