The Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Department will host the following upcoming colloquiums:
- “Predictive Modeling of Drug Effects: Learning from Biomedical Knowledge and Clinical Records,” on Friday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m in Cudahy Hall 401, hosted by Dr. Ping Zhang of the Center for Computational Health at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.
- “Piecewise Polynomials and Commutative Algebra,” on Monday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m in Cudahy Hall 401, hosted by Dr. Michael DiPasquale, visiting assistant professor of mathematics at Oklahoma State University.
