Marquette Forum will host a screening of “The Blood is at the Doorstep” on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Varsity Theatre. The event will include a light reception, film viewing and a discussion with the Hamilton family and film director, Erik Ljung.
“The Blood is at the Doorstep” is a documentary film chronicling a family’s fight for justice after Dontre Hamilton was shot 14 times and killed by a Milwaukee Police Officer in 2014.
This event is part of Marquette Forum, a year-long series of events focusing on equity. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required. More information and registration can be found online.
