The following Marquette Forum events will be offered this spring semester:
- “Health Disparities Among African American and Low Income Children,” will take place Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Raynor Memorial Libraries. Janice Welburn, dean of libraries, will facilitate the event. Featured guests include Dr. Earnest Willis, professor of pediatrics and director of the Center for the Advancement of Underserved Children and of Health Equity and Urban Clinical Care Partnerships at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Darienne Driver, superintendent for Milwaukee Public Schools, and Drs. Dora Clayton-Jones and Abiola Keller, faculty in Marquette’s College of Nursing. Vivian King, vice president for community relations at Aurora Health Care, will serve as panel moderator.
- A Marquette Forum featuring Dr. Alfredo Gonzalez will take place Monday, March 19. Dr. Ruth Ann Belknap, of the College of Nursing, will facilitate the event. Details are still being confirmed.
