The Canadian Pacific Railroad will be making repairs to the railroad crossing on N. 13th Street between W. St. Paul and W. Mt. Vernon avenues beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11. Repairs are estimated to take 2-3 days.
Both northbound traffic lanes on N. 13th Street through the crossing will be closed for repair of defective rail. The southbound lanes on N. 13th Street will remain open to traffic with one lane in each direction. CP Rail will have flagmen on site directing traffic.
The roadway through the crossing will be fully open to traffic during the evening hours with temporary gravel fill across the northbound lanes. Railroad crossing gates will be fully operational during non-working hours.
