January 29, 2018

For more than 25 years, National Marquette Day has gathered the Marquette nation united together in pride, spirit and sport to honor the values we cherish throughout the year. Join us as we kick off this tradition on Friday, Feb. 2 with the fourth annual Pep Rally and Fireworks. This year’s festivities will be emceed by Katie Crowther, anchor and reporter for Today’s TMJ4, and will take place in Lot F, across from the Al McGuire Center, starting at 6 p.m. and will include complimentary s’mores, mac and cheese, hot chocolate and more.

The first 500 attendees will also receive a voucher for a National Marquette Day T-shirt, redeemable at the women’s basketball game following the Pep Rally. Be sure to line up early! Enjoy performances from our cheerleaders, dance team and the Golden Eagle. You will also have the opportunity to hear from President Michael R. Lovell; Vice President and Director of Athletics Bill Scholl; Men’s Basketball Head Coach Steve Wojciechowski; and Women’s Assistant Coach Scott Merritt, Comm ’04.

Students can sign-up on Facebook.

After the pep rally, head over to the Al McGuire Center for the Marquette women’s basketball game vs. Providence. Following the conclusion of the game, watch as fireworks light the sky over the Wells Street Parking Structure as you exit the Al McGuire Center.
