National Day of Prayer for Life is Monday, Jan. 22. Marquette’s formal observance of this day will begin with Mass at noon at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel, followed by a prayer walk across campus to the Chapel of the Holy Family in the AMU for reflections and a short prayer service touching upon the broad array of needs facing the human family.
The Marquette community is invited to join with others around the university in praying for human life in all its stages from conception to natural death. This day offers communities around the United States an opportunity to reflect upon ways to offer greater support for persons within our society.
This event is sponsored by Marquette for Life, Faculty for Life, and Campus Ministry. For more information contact Steve Blaha, assistant director of Campus Ministry at (414) 288-6873.
