The Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Department will host the following upcoming colloquiums:
- “Moving Towards the Next Generation of Healthcare Applications,” on Friday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m in Cudahy Hall 401, hosted by Dr. Ahmad Al Kawam, professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University.
- “Mining and Predicting Complex Human Systems at Scale,” on Friday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m in Cudahy Hall 401, hosted by Dr. Philippe J. Giabbanelli, professor in the Department of Computer Science at Northern Illinois University.
- “Predictive Modeling of Drug Effects: Learning from Biomedical Knowledge and Clinical Records,” on Friday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m in Cudahy Hall 401, hosted by Dr. Ping Zhang of the Center for Computational Health at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.
