The Graduate School will hold its first annual Graduate Student Week, from Monday, Feb. 19, to Friday, Feb. 23. The event is to celebrate the importance of graduate students and the significant research that they do at the university. Various professional development workshops, a multicultural networking event, and panel discussions will be included.
To recognize outstanding teaching and service, a graduate student will be presented with the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award. The week will end with the second annual Three Minute Thesis competition. The celebration will kick off Monday, Feb. 19, at 9 a.m. in Raynor Memorial Libraries Beaumier Suites BC.
