The Center for Peacemaking is encouraging undergraduate students to apply for summer peacemaking fellowships. Student fellows can receive up to $2,000 in funding to implement their summer peacemaking project.
Projects can take place internationally or domestically and should fit one of the following designs: self-designed project, internship with a peacemaking organization, research project, or participating in a peacemaking delegation or conference. Previous fellows have completed projects in Milwaukee, New Orleans, Chicago, Nicaragua, Ireland, Peru, South Africa and Spain.
Application materials and more information are available online. Applications for summer 2018 are due Monday, Feb. 19. Students are encouraged to meet with Chris Jeske, associate director in the Center for Peacemaking, to discuss project ideas or to inquire about other partner organizations.
