The Marquette community is invited to attend an informative workshop focused on the process for technology transfer, which starts with an invention disclosure, on Tuesday, Dec. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. in Zilber Hall 470.
Participants who attend the workshop will learn how to file a patent, license agreements, and start a business. The workshop will also cover the ways in which the Office of Research and Innovation works with faculty and staff to successfully carryout technology transfers as well as the additional university resources available.
Dr. Carmel Ruffolo, associate vice president for the Office of Research and Innovation, will facilitate the workshop. There are limited seats available so RSVP ticketing is limited.
