A reminder to students that the appeal process of the Academic Censure Policy was revised for the 2017-18 academic year. The full academic censure policy may be found online.
RWAR/SAP Appeals:
“If the committee denies the appeal and the student believes the Academic Censure Committee did not follow the procedures as outlined in this policy when making the RWAR/SAP decision, the student may present compelling evidence in writing to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, outlining in detail, the improper procedure that was used when the decision was made.
College Academic Alert Appeals:
“If the committee denies the appeal and the student believes the Academic Censure Committee did not follow the procedures as outlined in this policy when making the CAA decision, the student may present compelling evidence in writing to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, outlining in detail, the improper procedure that was used when the decision was made.”
