Employee Wellness Events for December

The Employee Wellness Program offers a variety of monthly wellness courses for faculty and staff.

Events for December include:

  • Mindfulness Meditation registration is available online. This course is designed to help participants learn about mindfulness meditation, working with the the breath to be and stay in the present moment. The class is also designed to support participants in developing a personal home sitting meditation practice if that is something they are interested in. Classes will be held every Monday from Jan. 29, to April 2.
  • Group fitness class registration is available online. Classes will run Tuesday, Jan. 2, to Friday, April 13. Participants can purchase a $50 FitPass or a $75 FitPass + CrossFit to access all of the classes on the group fitness schedule. Space is limited and will be a first come first serve basis.
  • Sign up for 2018 CSA through Three Sister’s Community Farm online. A five percent discount will be given to Marquette employees, and an additional five percent discount will be given for those who sign up before Thursday, Dec. 21. Farm shares will also be available for purchase through Clare Garden. Both shares are delivered to Marquette.
