Registration for the Bridge to Business spring session is now open

November 30, 2017

Registration for the Bridge to Business program is now available online. The non-credit program provides early career engineers, this includes engineers who recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering as well as those with a few years of experience, with the business fundamentals they need to be successful.

The schedule for the 6-day event is as follows:

  • Part One: Tuesday, May 22, to Thursday, May 24
  • Part Two: Tuesday, June 12, to Thursday, June 14

The program is a unique collaboration between Marquette University’s Opus College of Engineering and the College of Business Administration. The faculty of both colleges, along with members of the local business community, have designed a curriculum that focuses on the key touch points between engineers and other functions within the organization. Participants will experience a mix of classroom and real-world learning opportunities through which they will learn how they can be most effective in their functional role and across the enterprise.

Bridge to Business is sponsored by Rexnord Corporation and is made possible through a generous $1 million corporate gift from Rexnord.

“We see great value in an engineering program that provides a solid technical background supplemented with broader business knowledge. This skill set will set graduates apart in the workplace,” said Todd Adams, president and CEO of Rexnord.

The cost to participate is $3,750 per person. Organizations sending two participants are eligible to send a third participant for free. More information can be found online.
