Marquette Forum will host Dr. Brave Heart who will present “Health Equity and Native Communities,” on Monday, Nov. 27, at 5 p.m. in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.
Dr. Brave Heart is an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and director of Native American Disparities Research at the Center for Rural and Community Behavioral Health in the School of Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She has been invited to share her work with tribal communities, professional organizations and academic institutions across North America.
Following the lecture, a Q&A portion will be moderated by Dr. Lisa Poupart followed by a reception. More information can be found online.
