Campus Ministry and Ignite will host Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Richard J. Sklba of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to present “Growing Together in Faith: Catholic Commitment to Christian Unity,” on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chapel of the Holy Family in the AMU.
In commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, Bishop Sklba will reflect on his experiences with the Lutheran-Catholic Theological Dialogue, the Catholic commitment to fostering unity between Christians and current relationships between Catholics and Lutherans. A full biography of Bishop Sklba can be found online. This will be a personal and insightful talk that will offer students an opportunity to explore and reflect on ways that Christian unity can be further built upon on campus and in daily life.
