October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and IT Services is giving away a free STOP. THINK. CONNECT. “Slap Wrap and Go” to use on drinks from the IT Services Help Desk, which is located in Cudahy Hall, second floor.
To receive a free “Slap Wrap and Go” participants must upgrade their security software because securing the internet is a shared responsibility.

Symantec software is a free download for all students. It protects your computer from viruses, trojans, worms and malicious spyware. Be sure to uninstall any other security software (McAfee, ForeFront, Norton, etc.) before installing Symantec.
Marquette VPN uses multifactor authentication for a more secure connection from anywhere. Use it off campus to connect to campus-restricted resources, including library research databases and websites.
