Applications now being accepted for academic integrity director

October 23, 2017

Applications and nominations are now being accepted for the academic integrity director. This is a three-year term, beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2021. This is a half-time, 12-month temporary position that includes a summer stipend.

The academic integrity director oversees all aspects of academic integrity on campus and as such has the unique opportunity to help shape, build, and implement the academic integrity system at Marquette. An academic integrity coordinator (half-time graduate assistant) will be hired to assist the director, especially in those administrative tasks necessary to successfully manage academic misconduct cases and the Academic Integrity Council. Logistics and further administrative support of this position will be managed through the Office of the Provost.

A complete application consists of a letter of interest addressing the specific position requirements, curriculum vitae, and two letters of reference from individuals who can speak to the applicant’s experience and effectiveness. To discuss the position further, contact John Su, vice provost for academic affairs.

The deadline for applications is Monday, Nov. 27. Review of candidates will begin immediately thereafter and continue until the position is filled.
