Annual enrollment for benefits begins Monday, Oct. 23; town hall presentations to be held

October 16, 2017

Marquette’s annual benefit enrollment period begins Monday, Oct. 23, and runs through Friday, Nov. 10. The open enrollment process is completed through the MyJob portal. With the exception of the Flexible Spending Account and MetLaw elections, all other 2017 elections you have will roll over into 2018. If you would like to confirm or change anything about your benefit coverage in 2018, you will need to log into MyJob and click on the MU Benefit Annual Enrollment portal.

Marquette strongly encourages employees to review their benefits for the upcoming year, as there are changes in pharmacy coverage, health insurance premiums, and out of pocket maximums for 2018.

Those who wish to continue or begin participating in the voluntary Group Legal (MetLaw) benefit must also enroll each year during annual enrollment using a paper form included in your 2018 Benefit Enrollment Guide materials or available by clicking on this link.

Steve McCauley, director of employee benefits, will host a series of town hall events to review what’s new and the changes to this year’s plan. The dates and locations are listed below:

  • Monday, Oct. 30, AMU 163, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 31, AMU 163, noon to 1 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 2, AMU 163, noon to 1 p.m.

For a copy of the 2018 Annual Enrollment Packet, click here or visit the Benefits website. Members of the Benefits staff will also be available on the following dates and times to help you navigate the online enrollment process, answer benefit questions and clarify various aspects of Marquette’s benefit offerings:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., AMU 305
  • Wednesday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., AMU Henke Lounge
  • Thursday, Nov. 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., AMU Henke Lounge

These assistance meetings are first come, first serve one-on-one appointments. The wait time may be less on Wednesday, Oct. 25, and Wednesday, Nov. 1.
