2018 Benefits Enrollment and Health Risk Assessments continue

October 25, 2017

Marquette’s annual enrollment period runs through midnight on Friday, Nov. 10. All employees should have received a 2018 Benefits Enrollment Guide at their home address listed in MyJob. If you did not receive a mailing, a copy of the 2018 Benefits Enrollment Guide is available online.

Key steps for benefits annual enrollment for the 2018 calendar year, with changes made through MyJob, are:

Review FSA, HSA & MetLaw benefit coverage

  • With the exception of the Flexible Spending Accounts and MetLaw elections, all current elections will roll over into 2018. However, if you would like to confirm or change anything about your benefit coverage in 2018, you will need to go to MyJob and click on the MU Benefit Annual Enrollment Portal. Employees who decide to participate in one of the Flexible Spending Accounts or a Health Savings Account for 2018 must enroll through the portal in MyJob during the Annual Enrollment period. Existing health care FSA debit cards are valid for five years and will be reloaded in January with your entire annual election for 2018.
  • Those who wish to continue or begin participating in the voluntary Group Legal (MetLaw) benefit must also enroll each year during annual enrollment using a paper form included in your home materials.

Members of the benefits staff will be available on the following dates and times to help navigate the online enrollment process, answer benefit questions and clarify various aspects of Marquette’s benefit offerings. These are first come, first serve meetings. Times and dates are:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the AMU Henke Lounge
  • Thursday, Nov. 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the AMU Henke Lounge

Also, do not forget about Marquette’s interactive online benefits decision support tool, “ALEX”.
