October is LGBTQ+ History Month and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center is hosting several events for Marquette faculty, staff and students to celebrate.
The month-long series of events is focused around LGBTQIA+ identities, history, and culture. The LGBTQ+ Resource Center will host multiple speakers, a LGBTQ+ & Allies Community Lunch, a partnership with the LGBT+ Alumni Council for a Networking and open house event, the continuation of our “Here I Am, Out at Marquette” Photo Project, and more.
Marquette and larger Milwaukee community has been invited to join Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Greater Milwaukee Synod, ELCA in a LGBTQ+ Celebration Service on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. This is a space that is open to all, no matter your identity, faith practice, or beliefs, that focuses on unity and celebration for all.
The full schedule of events can be found online.
All events are free and open to the Marquette community.
