The Haggerty Museum of Art will host a free storytelling workshop on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for individuals willing to tell stories about the refugee experience. After the workshop individuals who want to tell a story during the November StorySlam will receive free one-on-one coaching to help them prepare. StorySlam will take place on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Haggerty Museum of Art.
The workshop is part of a storytelling project in partnership with Ex Fabula that is inspired by the themes of exile, migration and displacement explored in the upcoming Haggerty exhibition “The Refugee Trilogy”.
