Faculty members eligible for sabbaticals during the 2018-19 academic year are reminded to submit their sabbatical review plans to the Office of the Provost by Monday, Oct. 16. Information about the sabbatical program as well as requirements for sabbatical plans can be found on the Office of the Provost’s Sabbatical Handbook website. Sabbatical plans must be approved by the unit dean or designated representative before submission. Faculty members who completed their sabbaticals during the 2016-17 academic year are also reminded to submit their sabbatical reports to the Office of the Provost by the Oct. 16 deadline. Sabbatical reports must also be approved by the unit dean or designated representative before submission.
The Sabbatical Review Committee will be chaired by Dr. Carla Hay, associate professor of history. The Sabbatical Review Committee is composed of eight tenured members of the Regular Faculty and distributed so as to assure representation of a variety of scholarly disciplines.
