As a student representative on a university committee, you will work alongside passionate university faculty and staff to better the community. Your service on a committee is not about observation, but rather it is a hands-on and tangible leadership experience that makes real impacts on the Marquette experience. Your voice on the committee is valuable, because as a student, you have the best pulse on what it is like to be at Marquette University.
Each university committee serves a different purpose and meets regularly, either once or twice a month. Per the position’s requirements, it is vital for student representatives to attend each meeting and to report back to MUSG.
To allow time for appointments before the school year begins, preliminary applications will close Friday, Aug. 18. Contact musg.president@Marquette.edu regarding questions about serving as a student representative on University Committee.
MUSG is also currently hiring desk receptionists, graphic designers, PR specialists, multimedia assistants, and searching for an Elections Coordinator and Senior Speaker Coordinator.
