Library to offer extended hours and snack breaks during finals week

May 4, 2017

Marquette’s Raynor Memorial Libraries will offer a number of ways to help students push through finals week. More of the libraries’ spaces will be open later, including Memorial Library, which will remain open until 2 a.m. each night. The Beaumier Suites on the lower level of Raynor Library will be open for studying most nights when that floor is open.

In addition, students can recharge with nighttime snacks and coffee on the bridge, as well as coloring stations around the library. The snack-break schedule is as follows:

  • Sunday, May 7, at 10 p.m.: Coffee, tea and snacks (sponsored by MUSG, Raynor Memorial Libraries)
  • Monday, May 8, at 10 p.m.: Coffee, tea and snacks (sponsored by Student Affairs, Raynor Memorial Libraries)
  • Tuesday, May 9, at 8 p.m.: Snacks and coffee with President Lovell (sponsored by the Office of the President)
  • Wednesday, May 10, at 10 p.m.: Coffee, tea and snacks (sponsored by the Office of the Provost, Raynor Memorial Libraries)

A full list of the library’s extended finals-week hours can be found online.

Questions about finals week activities at the libraries can be directed to Elisa Coghlan.
