Librarians Elizabeth Gibes and Heather James will be hosting a workshop called, “Images, Publishing, and Copyright – Do it right!” on Wednesday, June 7, at noon in the Raynor Library Digital Scholarship Lab. The workshop is intended for doctoral students and faculty dissertation advisers.
The 50-minute discussion will focus on how to work with images in your dissertation and your rights as an author. Expect to learn about how you will know what images are available for reuse as well as how to format images in a high-resolution, print-ready file type. The discussion will include examples as they address questions about negotiating your rights as an author when making the decision to publish your scholarship.
A light lunch will be provided. To attend, RSVP to Ida McConnell, by Friday, May 26.
