The Marquette community is invited to the Opus College of Engineering’s third annual Design Day event, a day-long exhibition of student projects and exciting speakers, on Friday, May 5.
The purpose of Design Day 2017 is to showcase the variety of year-round design activities that exist within the OCOE. These include not only senior capstone design projects, but also freshman, student-led, and course-related design projects.
Design projects allow students to put their knowledge and skills into action, solving real-world challenges. Development of design thinking in concert with an entrepreneurial mindset prepares students to create value through innovative problem solving, enabling them to “Be the Difference.”
The event is free and open to the public.
