Stand up with Stanford/Marquette this Sexual Assault Awareness Month by attending the staged reading sponsored by the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences and Advocacy Services on Monday, April 24, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in AMU Ballroom E.
The staged reading of Emily Doe’s powerful victim impact statement in the sentencing hearing of Brock Turner will be followed by a series of statements from survivors on Marquette’s campus.
All students, faculty and staff are welcome to come hear these powerful words, particularly the ones coming from members of the campus community. This event will not have mandatory reporting and a victim advocate will be present to provide resources and information.
More information on the event can be found online.
