The family of Dr. Susanne E. Foster, associate dean of academic affairs in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, shared a message with the campus community following her death on Saturday, March 18, at the age of 55.
“Susanne Foster’s family is deeply grateful to all those in the university community who sent us condolences following her death. They were a source of comfort to us.” — Richard, Katherine and Arthur Foster.
Dr. Foster began her career as a faculty member at Marquette in 1992 after receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame. Her areas of teaching and research included Aristotle, virtue ethics, environmental ethics and Native American philosophy.
