Over the course of the spring semester, the search committee to recruit a new CFO has made considerable progress. The committee, which is chaired by Dr. Doug Woods, vice provost for graduate and professional studies and dean of the Graduate School, spent time gaining valuable feedback from colleagues representing a wide range of constituent groups across campus. In partnership with its search firm, Isaacson, Miller, the committee also met with leadership throughout the university to finalize an “Opportunity and Challenge” profile for the position. The profile is now being used to attract top candidates.
“The search for a CFO is a collective and collaborative effort,” Woods said. “I appreciate the committee members’ engagement, as well as the interest displayed and shared by faculty, staff and students. This has been particularly helpful in defining and identifying hoped for attributes in candidates.”
Marquette faculty and staff are encouraged to submit names for nomination online. The new CFO is expected to start in time for the 2017-18 academic year.
