Campus Kitchens Project seeking student volunteers

March 30, 2017

The Campus Kitchens Project is currently in need of volunteers and is seeking student leaders who want a more active role in an organization.

CKP is a national leader in community service for students and is the future of hunger relief. CKP is empowering the next generation of leaders to implement innovative models for combating hunger, developing food systems and helping communities help themselves.

Student leaders are responsible for organizing cooking shifts and participating with beneficiaries. Student volunteers develop partnerships, recover food, plan menus, run cooking shifts, organize drivers, garden, clean and teach nutrition education to children and families. They keep track of all of the paperwork (so we know everything’s being done safely), organize fundraisers, develop curriculum and recruit new student volunteers. They accomplish an incredible amount of work every day.

For more information on ways to get involved, contact CKP via email.
