As part of Marquette’s initiative to become a Hispanic-Serving Institution and create a more welcoming campus environment for Spanish-speaking parents of prospective and current students, the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion is seeking Spanish-speaking faculty and staff in hopes of increasing the university’s capacity for Spanish-language programming.
The office is currently compiling an inventory of faculty and staff who are fluent Spanish-speakers and would like to add their names to a list of potential volunteers for future events.
To add your name to the list, go online and fill in the required information. For any questions about this or other HSI-related initiatives, please contact Jacki Black, associate director for Hispanic initiatives at (414) 288-4118.
