Faculty and staff technology training opportunities for February

Attend one of three hands-on training sessions to develop skills using SharePoint Online and Qualtrics surveys.

  • What’s New in SharePoint Online for Site Users: Friday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Open SharePoint Online sites from the Office 365 portal and follow a site for easy access. Use modern view with new options for uploading and moving documents and folders. Edit documents in the browser, change views in a list or library, and explore new ways to share documents and collaborate.
  • SharePoint Online for Site Owners: Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Access settings for a site or library in the new SharePoint Online environment. Explore best practices for making and managing team sites, sharing content with users at Marquette and outside of Marquette, and setting up restricted access to some documents on sub-sites. Make a new sub-site, list, library or calendar in SharePoint Online. Create views for document libraries or lists and edit navigation on your site.
  • Qualtrics 101 – Introduction to Qualtrics Online Survey Software: Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Qualtrics online survey software is available to all faculty, staff and students. Learn to create, edit, distribute and generate reports for online surveys and explore options and features to help you build a better survey. No previous knowledge of Qualtrics is necessary.
