The Center for Peacemaking along with LASO, InterVarsity, CRS Ambassadors, and the Muslim Student Association will host “Cookies and Community: A Discussion with Refugees,” Thursday, March 2, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Marquette Hall 100.
This powerful event will be an informative first-hand looks into the lives of those who consider themselves Refugees and whose stories often go untold. The event will feature a student-made short film on the Refugee Crisis in Europe as well as a panel of current Refugees in the Milwaukee area to engage in a Q&A discussion and share their unique stories with the Marquette community.
Cookies and lemonade will be provided.
The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.
