The Department of Philosophy will host the 81st Annual Aquinas Lecture on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. in Marquette Hall 100. Dr. Daniel O. Dahlstrom, the John L. Silber Professor of Philosophy at Boston University, will deliver “Identity, Authenticity, and Humility.”
Dahlstrom has received the Mellon Foundation Grant for work on medieval logic in the Vatican Microfilm Library, two Fulbright awards, a summer grant from the German Academic Exchange Service for research in Tübingen, a Humboldt award for research in Cologne on the thought of Kant, Hegel, and eighteenth century German aesthetics, and more. He has published several books and translations and authored over 150 articles and chapters.
