The Humanities Research Colloquium will host its first speaker of the semester Thursday, Jan. 26, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Marquette Hall 105. Dr. Kristen Foster, associate professor of history, will present a talk titled “Thomas Jefferson’s ‘Ball of Liberty’: Some Thoughts on How the Haitian Revolution Changed the Course of American Equality.” The presentation will be followed by a discussion and refreshments will be provided.
