Campus Ministry and Marquette for Life to sponsor events for March for Life Week

Campus Ministry and Marquette for Life will sponsor events on campus during March for Life Week, a week for Catholic institutions across the nation to give thanks for human life and advocate to end threats to human life and dignity. All are welcome to participate in any and all of the following events:

March for Life Week, Jan. 23-28

Sunday, Jan. 22

Sunday Masses (6 p.m. at Church of Gesu and 9 p.m. at the Chapel of the Holy Family) with prayer intentions for the needs of the human family.

Monday, Jan. 23

Day of Prayer for Unborn Children.  Mass will be offered at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel; noon and 10 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 26

March for Life Pilgrims depart for Washington, D.C. Nineteen Marquette students and a staff member will travel on pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., to participate in the national March for Life and accompanying activities focused on questions around human dignity. Supported by the MUSG Student Activity Fee.

Candlelight Vigil for Life at St. Joan of Arc Chapel; 9 p.m.  Gather as a campus community for a candle light evening prayer service for life.

Friday, Jan. 27

Marquette March for Life at noon; meet just outside Chapel of the Holy Family in the AMU to begin a one-mile walk and prayer experience.

Join with others from around the university on a prayerful walk exploring the gift of life, justice issues facing the human family and ways that members of the Marquette community are working to Be the Difference.  This walk runs parallel to the national March in Washington, D.C.

Saturday, Jan. 28

March for Life Pilgrims return from Washington, D.C. Celebrate as our pilgrims return and begin sharing their experiences.
