The Les Aspin Center For Government will host an information session regarding internship and volunteer opportunities for the 2020 Democratic National Convention will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. in the AMU, Room 227.
The DNC will take place in Milwaukee July 13 – 16, 2020. There will be many internship and volunteer opportunities for students of all disciplines.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the convention process and hear from the following faculty panelists:
- Dr. Julia Azari, associate professor of political science
- Lisa Grabert, research professor of nursing (at Marquette University and Georgetown University)
- Ron Smith, editor/project director of the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service and instructor of practice of journalism and media studies
- Dr. Paul Nolette, associate professor of political science
A representative from the College of Business Administration will also be a panelist.
